First story, Hi, AU and Language shool life @0@

I arrived to Sydney on Aug 24. After got off the airplane, one of the korean diver took me to homestay house. It's my first time to live with homestay family, so I was excited !
Now I'm living at ' South Strathfield' with the greatest family :)

Anyway, I and Jolie (My roommate. She is my collegue, too.) went out to get mobile phones, and information about Australia.
[Actually, I already asked to agency, which mobile phone and bank are popular in Au.]
We took a bus (Homestay mum told us how to get to city :*), and I was really surprised cause I paid $4 Au dallars.
It was shocking enough because in Korea, I need to pay less than $1 to take a bus.
We got off right place (lucky :)) and started to walked around to found anythings.
So, I got optus's pre-paid mobile phone ($79) , and later I opened account at Commonwealth bank.
[ I met Korean assistant at the bank which is near Central station commonwealth bank. So lucky because bank business is one of the difficult part for international students !!!]

On Aug 25, Mon. I started to Access Language School and took a level test at first day.
Test was not simple. I took a grammar, reading, and speaking, listening test.
Especailly, I had interview with head of teacher, and that was speaking and listening test.
It was fun and brilliant way to test people. And I got intermediate class.
Class was fine, but over half % classmates were Korean.
[I didn't know too much Korean are living in Sydney.. :( ]
Anyway, I got so much fun in the class cause I made new friends.
I always think that language school is not just for learning English, it could be place to meet people who are from many different nationalities.
And it doesn't matter how much I can speak English.
Friends can understand what they want each others.

After 1 week, unfortunately, I took a test again because that was policy of school.
[Every first week, students have to take a level test and change or stay class.]
It took a whole week to correct answer and decided go up or stay class.
I don't know why they waste time like that, but anyway I went to Watson's bay for excursion.
That was really cool cause that time was chance to know each others.
Finally, I got upper intermediate class. Oh, that was awesome !

Actually, I just got high mark with listening part. Grammar part was really sucks and another parts were just average line, but I was not shy in the class and I tried to speak English in cthe class, and teacher got that, and I took a special interview with upper class teacher and finally my level was going up.

Upper class was little difficult because words were different with lower class.
However, that was really fun challenging and so much fun.
I'm going to say, if you are not scare to study English with friends who can speak English better than you, you should try that.
You can learn from your friends and also you can improve your English skill more faster.

I joined Access Language school just 4 weeks, but I had good time. All staffs are really kind as family, and I made new friends who come from Japan, China, Colombia, Spain, Israel, Turkey, and finally Korea!Teachers were really nice and gentle to students, and courses were not boring. [It's depends on who will be your teacher, but I was lucky :)]At the beginning, I really hated to go to language school because just speak English with similar language level friends and played games, but it helped me a lot. I learned English in America, and I didn't know Australian English is different with it. So I needed time to adapted with Australian English, and I got that time when I was in the class. And also, I visited some places cause I had much time to go around.[I'm going to show you some great place later :) Coming soon !!! ]

Sometimes, I missed this time, but I really love the present time either.
So just I will remember long long time.
I really enjoyed short school life and also I adapted to Australia!!!

PS. I got gorgeous cetification, and grade record. I will show you soon ! :)
PS2. Wow I got awesome stuff ! It's Access language centre vedio and I appear here !Find me ! :)

Zero stroy, leave Korea !!!

When I was in Illinois, USA [I was exchange student :)], I got text msg from Korea.
Definitly, from my univ. Omg, I got chance to go to abroad internship !
Even I just need to pay for my lunch cause univ and gov will provide everything without that ! I was so excited to heard that, and why not I decided to go to Australia !

However, that was so easy way because I have to attend several orientations and go to English academy.
Yeah, I can't speak English very well, but agency gave me academy that not fit for me. I needed to practice speaking English, but that was preparing TOEIC course and even though that was for biginner.
(Hey, I've been US a year to learned English.. I'm not good at English, but not beginner !!)
I complained that, yet agency said you are kind of beginner so just attend school.
I can tell you truth.. I just attended once. HaHa.. [Am I cool? xp] I thought that will not help me, so I studied alone.
Anyway, I went to oreientation twice, and something was really usuful information, but mostly they just stole my time, I think.
Acency should show, and tell me what is true and real situation, but they talked a lot of things and finally, that made me confused.

(Final orientation just day before departured. Look at people's face !!)

Wow, finally on,Aug 23, sat.
I left Korea, my beautiful country **
I and friends who came together to Australia, took a pictures.
It was forced by agency !! hehe

## Happening in Sydney airport !
When I wrote customs form, I checked I don't have any food, but I had.
And finally, I got into trouble. Security person got me !
I brought noodle, and they thought that was seed.
They just warned me, and nothing more, but I think wrote true is better:(

It was my story before I came to Australia, and next one will be about Australia life.
Thanks : )

Get it start !! : )
